The Atlanta Industry Liaison Group, Inc. celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
The first official meeting was in November 1989. At that time, twelve local Atlanta
area contractors and the OFCCP met to forge a partnership that continues to
thrive today. Our common purpose was to communicate and educate each other
in all areas related to equal opportunity and affirmative action compliance. To
this end, the AILG established as its purpose:
 | | To establish a positive relationship between the OFCCP and |
| | other governmental compliance agencies and Federal contractors;
|
 | | To provide educational forums where exchanges of |
| | information and awareness can occur on the issue of affirmative action, cultural diversity and equal opportunity, and;
|
 | | To do all other things necessary, proper or appropriate for the |
| | accomplishment of the foregoing purposes.
